I write clear and concise copy that creates an impact. My work is featured in newspapers, magazines, brochures, annual reports, press releases, websites, social media, advertising and English language examination boards. I also devise brand names and straplines and rewrite copy for clients whose mother tongue is not English (a particularly useful service for clients abroad who want to target markets in English speaking countries).

I enjoy creative writing – my audio drama Body Politic was broadcast on Radio 4 and I provide speeches for celebrations, business events and formal functions. To keep the creative juices flowing I write one-line gags which I occasionally unleash on unsuspecting audiences of London’s open-mic comedy circuit.

Register (tone of voice) is crucial in devising copy and I am particularly strong in this area. I am also fully conversant with SEO copywriting techniques.

I regularly work with graphic and web designers, adapting copy to fit available space and I always work at times to suit client deadlines.
